After hearing inspirational stories from the homeless that Off The Fence have helped over the last 25 years, and with our soup kitchen dinners, the Star Property team attempted to sleep in our sleeping bags with cardboard boxes and tarpaulin for protection.
The event raised awareness of the difficulties that thousands of people face every day when living without a fixed address. It was also incredible to hear the services that Off The Fence offer, which include homeless drop in centres that have computers, showers and laundry facilities, parent and child crisis housing for domestic abuse and school workshops to help prevent homelessness. The funds raised from this event will support Off The Fence in continuing their work.
